E-Money Addresses Claims of Having an Affairs with the Wife of Late Actor Junior Pope
The well-known businessman Emeka Okonkwo, better known by his stage name E-Money, has responded to claims that he had an affair with the late actor Junior Pope’s wife.
The allegations suggested he was responsible for the actor’s untimely demise as well. On April 10, Junior Pope passed away in the River Niger in Asaba, Delta State, while traveling to a filming location.
E-Money paid respects to Pope on April 17 and promised to take care of the actor’s kids. Recently, a Facebook influencer posted a video in which she accused E-Money of having an affair with Pope’s widow and alluded to a possible link between the actor’s passing.
E-Money responded by reposting the implicating video and another with similar claims on Instagram and requesting that Nigerians assist in identifying the rumor mongers.
E-Money declared that he planned to take the bloggers and influencers who were circulating these rumors to court. “During this trying time of mourning, it has come to my attention that some people are disseminating inaccurate and harmful information regarding my relationship with my late brother, Junior Pope, and his family.
These actions are extremely hurtful to our grieving family and demonstrate a complete lack of respect for the memory of the deceased,” he wrote. “I can’t just throw in the towel and let this horrible deed go unpunished.
I’m determined to find these dishonest people and see to it that they are held responsible. We must tidy up our social media accounts and allow the law to do its due process.
