The talented Nigerian actor, Zack Orji, has been transparent about his country of origin.
The actor revealed in a recent conversation that he had been born in Gabon as a result of his father’s frequent business travels.
But according to some blogs, he professed to be from Gabon and denied being of Nigerian heritage. Orji clarified his remarks on Tuesday on his Instagram page, claiming to be a “full-blooded Nigerian.” He claimed to be “proud of my Nigerian heritage” and to be from Enugu.The actor further denounced as “lies from the pit of hell” those who were spreading false stories about his nationality.
They said I was dead not too long ago, but by God’s grace and compassion, it turned out to be a lie from the depths of hell.
He wrote, “I’m from Gabon; I’m not a Nigerian.” Now, another lie from the depths of hell has surfaced: “With this statement, I disassociate myself from that falsehood. My parents are Nigerian; hence, I have Nigerian ancestry in my whole family.” I’m from the coal-city state of Enugu.
I take great pride in both my Nigerian nationality and my Nigerian heritage. God Almighty would take appropriate action against the person who spread that untruth.
