In the viral video on social media, IVD was captured on his knee asking Blessing’s CEO to marry him.
She responded, ” Yes, Ye, I will marry you, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna.”
NAIJAWAHALA reports that the proposal came barely three years after IVD’s wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, died following an injury sustained in a fire incident in their home due to violence.
Reacting to the controversial incident, Bimbo’s family accused IVD of long-standing abuse.
Defending IVD, Blessing CEO, who claimed to be his relationship therapist, alleged that the late Bimbo was a violent person and a suicide victim.
The Lagos State Federal High Court later remanded Blessing CEO in March 2023 over her involvement in the case between IVD and late Bimbo Ogbonna.
IVD’s reaction to Bimbo’s death, coupled with Blessing CEO’s involvement, had sparked outrage on social media, with many pointing accusing fingers at both of them.
