Prince Harry comes alone, and Meghan Markle’s decision to cancel her visit to the UK is revealed.
An expert has addressed Meghan Markle’s choice to decline her husband’s invitation to attend an Invictus Games event in his native country, stating that the former actress would have declined for a very special reason.
Prince Harry landed in London on Tuesday, and the Duchess of Sussex did not travel with her husband on her recent trip to the UK.
The Duke has travelled back to his native nation in preparation for today’s Invictus Games event at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Though it was known early on that Meghan would not be going, there was much speculation as to whether or not she would. It is believed that Meghan has stayed in Montecito, California, together with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, the couple’s two children.
According to public relations expert Lynn Carratt, one of the Duke’s “greatest achievements” is the Invictus Games, which are commemorating their tenth anniversary after Harry co-founded them in 2014. The Mirror has learned this.
She also mentioned how all of this occurred before to Harry and Meghan’s meeting. “However, it was at these games that they first went public as a couple, making it an event close to Meghan’s heart as well,” Lynn said.
Then, Lynn told The Mirror why she thought Meghan hadn’t travelled to the UK with her husband for the occasion: Meghan realised that her presence could draw all the focus on this significant event, so she probably didn’t want to steal Harry’s thunder.
