Diligent Habeeb Okikiola, a Nigerian musician better known by his stage name Portable, is currently being held under arrest for unpaid Mercedez G-Wagon debt.

It was discovered that Portable refused to pay the remaining N14 million of the car’s N27 million cost, claiming that the vehicle was flawed, and only contributed N13 million toward the purchase price.

When the car dealer called the street-hop artist to collect the unpaid amount, he allegedly repeatedly claimed that the vehicle was broken.

The singer was taken into custody following the car dealer’s purported police report of the incident, and the singer’s incarceration has been confirmed by Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Benjamin Hundeyin.

Hundeyin claims that the musician purposefully chose not to pay the outstanding balance of N14 million.

Indeed, Portable is in custody. He paid N13 million for a G-Wagon that cost N27 million, but he refused to pay the remaining N27 million, stating that the car was defective. Today, we took him into custody, said SP Hundeyin.
